American actress Jennifer Lawrence will announce the nominations for 84th Academy Awards later this month.

The 21-year-old, who was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in 'Winter's Bone' last year, will host the nominations event alongside Academy president Tom Sherak at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater Jan 24 in Beverly Hills in Los Angeles county.
