The 50-year-old author took to Twitter and in a fan-chat quipped that a "Harry Potter" opera or ice ballet is more likely to happen than a TV show.
"Right after the opera, Potter-on-ice and the interpretative dance version of Beedle the Bard #NotActuallyHappening," Rowling replied, when a fan asked&nbsp;about a potential TV series.
The author said the image of Voldemort, who is the archenemy of Harry Potter, doing a figure skating jump will haunt her.
"To all those begging for Potter-on-Ice: the image of Ice Voldemort performing the triple salchow will haunt my dreams tonight. #sick," she said.
The author is busy with "The Harry Potter" spin-off film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" which is based on her 2001 novel of the same.
The film stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston and will start approximately seven decades before Harry Potter's own adventures.
