The "Firework" hitmaker said anything that needs to be said will be heard through her music, reported E!Online.
"He hasn't spoken to me since he texted me saying he was filing for divorce. I don't want to talk about him&iquest;my songs will say what I need to say," she said.
Perry admitted she always feels ladies should have both love and success.
"For a modern woman, it's important to be supported and that there is equality in every aspect. And it's no two halves that make a whole. It's two wholes that make a whole," she said.
While Perry remains coy about her relationship status, the Grammy nominee singer still has high hopes at finding another special guy in her future.
