Pop star Katy Perry made her first public appearance at a charity event since her British comedian husband Russell Brand filed for divorce.

The 27-year-old blue-haired singer turned up in Las Vegas to support her jewellery designer friend Markus Molinari at the event, reported Us magzine.

The 'Firework' hitmaker looked stunning as she posed for pictures with her friend wearing a snug embellished mini-dress and sky-high stiletto sandals.

Even fellow guest Paris Hilton noticed how lovely the singer looked, and commented on it via Twitter. "Katy Perry looking gorgeous across the room. Love her hair & dress! Stunning," she tweeted.
