Even as DC’s impending reboot has caused fans to worry about some Justice League actors being recast under James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DCU, Shazam actor Zachary Levi’s latest comment could ease some of those concerns. In response to several social media posts that Levi won’t return as Shazam, he maintained that fans shouldn’t believe everything they see on the internet.

“Oooh, I really wouldn’t go believing everything you see on the internet. I’m Gucci, Ash. We all Gucci,” he wrote recently. This is not the first time the actor has addressed his uncertain DC future. At the Comic Con Portugal 2022, he said that the new DC Studios heads Gunn and Safran “have a plan and a future for Shazam” in the DCU moving forward.
