The upcoming superhero offering Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania features Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, the next major villain in the MC Universe. As he looks ahead at Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, the actor shared that he would like to share the screen with Robert Downey Jr reprising his role of Iron Man.
 
Majors reportedly said, “I feel Kang Dynasty has the potential to grow the mythology of Kang, to add to the curiosity that much more, which is extremely exciting.” He added, “This is like a Robert Downey Jr day, he just keeps popping in [to my head]. Like, I know he’s an OG, he’s one of the originals. I think what he did with Iron Man was such a gift to the culture at large.”

All praise for the Iron Man star, Majors continues, “I’d love to be across from Robert on screen to see how our philosophies, acting-wise and character-wise, just personally, match up. I find him to be such a fascinating artiste, which is why Iron Man is so fascinating. Robert represents a very clear world view and energy of the Avengers. I think Kang represents a different era.”
