As unbelievable as it may sound, Meryl Streep says she had to work really hard for her role her latest film. The Oscar-winning actress plays the wicked witch in the movie Into The Woods which is based on the hit musical.

According to Streep, taking on the role in the musical meant doing her singing excercises that she remembered from her time at Yale University. "I thought, yes, I'm going to do this and I really worked very hard to bring my voice back."
