The fifth installment of the movie will see Jeremy Renner reprise his role of Aaron Cross in the film, being directed by Justin Lin of 'Fast & Furious' fame, reported Variety.

Longtime 'Bourne' produce Frank Marshall also returns to produce along with Jeffrey Weiner and Ben Smith for Captivate. The previous film in the series 'The Bourne Legacy' earned USD 276 million worldwide last year.

Renner replaced Matt Damon as the lead in the new movie. Universal also announced that it will release Luc Besson's action thriller 'Lucy' on August 8, 2014. The film stars Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman.u00a0
