International singer Adele yelled at an audience member after the person shouted ‘Pride sucks’. The singer, who's a massive advocate of LGBTQ+ rights, was hosting a concert at Las Vegas' Colosseum at Caesars Palace and gave it back to the audience member for his homophobic comment.

Adele's concert coincidentally fell on the first day of Pride Month. A video that surfaced on the internet shows Adele seated at the piano singing her hit songs when she heard the audience member making the negative remark.

In the viral video, Adele is seen yelling, “Did you come to my f*cking show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you f*cking stupid? Don’t be so f*cking ridiculous. If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, alright?” Her response left everyone in the room cheering.

As soon as the video went viral, fans came out in support of the popular singer. Social media was flooded with supporters posting appreciation messages for Adele. One wrote, “She might be a loudmouth, but it has to be said, she has stood up for a lot of different people in the past, that’s gotta give her respect.” “Imagine ADELE saying this to you, oh I would just disappear,” one comment read. “If Adele said this to me, I’d never show my face again,” added another. “I love Adele for this! Why do people love to say cruel things like this? It’s so uncalled for and disgusting,” a social media user said.

Adele has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights for a very long time. In 2016, after the horrific massacre of LGBTQ+ people in Florida, she addressed the crowd at her concert and said, “I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night… The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soul mates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it.”

About Pride Month:

LGBT Pride Month, commonly known as Pride Month, is a month-long celebration and commemoration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender pride, typically held in June. It originated following the Stonewall riots, a series of gay liberation protests that took place in 1969.
