Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar has vowed to spend more time with husband Freddie Prinze Jr. in the new year after realising her marriage has taken a back seat after she became a mother.

The 34-year-old, who recently returned to the small screen with "Ringer", has struggled to divide her time between her career and two-year-old daughter Charlotte.
