In one of the most extensive survey of moviegoers ever undertaken, saw the actors voted ahead of Gable and Leigh from the 1939 classic, set in the backdrop of American civil war. Almost a quarter of all those who voted, rated the romance that plays out during the final hours on the ill fated cruise liner Titanic as the best Hollywood has ever made.
