'Reply 1988' actor and Taehyung aka V's close friend Park Bogum was also spotted at the airport. This led fans to speculate that the two, who represent CELINE, might be travelling to Japan to attend an international event related to the French luxury label.

And indeed, Kim Taehyung arrived in style at CELINE's Omotesando boutique in Tokyo, Japan. When Japanese ARMYs realized that their favourite idol was visiting, they thronged to catch a glimpse of the icon outside the store. The excitement reached such fervent heights that V had to personally request ARMY to soften their voices to reduce the commotion at the promotional event.
