BTS's Kim Taehyung was photographed at Gimpo airport Seoul yesterday, reportedly travelling to Tokyo for an overseas work commitment. This led fans to speculate that the two, who represent CELINE, might be travelling to Japan to attend an international event related to the French luxury label.

And indeed, Kim Taehyung arrived in style at CELINE's Omotesando boutique in Tokyo, Japan. When Japanese ARMYs realized that their favourite idol was visiting, they thronged to catch a glimpse of the icon outside the store. The excitement reached such fervent heights that V had to personally request ARMY to soften their voices to reduce the commotion at the promotional event. This video has now gone viral on X (previously known as Twitter).

Several fashion magazines like Elle, Esquire and Harper's Bazaar covered V arriving at the event. He looked super stylish in a hip ensemble comprising leather pants, a denim jacket and neck scarf. Being the polite idol that he is, Taehyung diligently made sure to wave to all the fans who had been waiting since hours to greet him.

In updates with these fashion magazines, Taehyung introduced himself as 'CELINE Boy V' and said that he was in town for the re-opening of the label's store at the Japanese venue. He requested fans to show the store a lot of love and even asked local ARMYs for the best food recommendations while he was in town!

V recently announced the release of his brand-new debut solo album, 'Layover,' slated for release on September 8. He also released two tracks from his album, 'Love Me Again' and 'Rainy Days' along with their music videos - which has had ARMYs going wild on Twitter. With anticipation for the album reaching a fever pitch prior to its release, Taehyung has been blessing ARMY with new content everyday - be it his gender-bending fashion photoshoots for magazines like W Korea and Arena, or low-key quality time with fans through his livestreams. Kim Taehyung definitely knows how to keep his devoted fanbase on their toes.

Yesterday, he surprised fans once again by dancing with NewJeans to 'Hype Boy,' a track from the girl group's debut album. Clad in an oversized checkered shirt and comfortable jog pants, V exhibited his trademark 'smooth like butter' dance style that fans have come to adore. Taehyung seemed at ease in the HYBE dance practice room (where he is probably spending several hours practising choreographies for his forthcoming album). He assumed the center position amongst the NewJeans members and effortlessly synchronized with their movements. The coming together of two Korean powerhouses - one established, and one fast-rising created an energetic performance infused with playfulness and passion. This TikTok video went viral and quickly became one of the most viewed social media clips yesterday.
