BTS's Kim Taehyung will soon appear on Korean variety show 'Running Man'

BTS's Kim Taehyung aka V recently announced the release of his brand-new debut solo album, 'Layover,' slated for release on September 8. He also released two tracks from his album, 'Love Me Again' and 'Rainy Days' along with their music videos - which has had ARMYs going wild on Twitter. Not to mention, his gender-bending fashion photoshoots for magazines like W Korea and Arena as well as his recent appearance at CELINE's store in Tokyo. Kim Taehyung definitely knows how to keep his devoted fanbase on their toes.


V is all set to make an appearance on the popular South Korean variety show, 'Running Man'. The episode has already been recorded and is scheduled for broadcast on September 10. Soompi cited a reference from the variety show itself and said “V finished filming [for the episode] yesterday (August 28). The recording will be broadcast next month on September 10.” The announcement has caused much excitement among fans, especially since V will feature on the show shortly after launching his solo album "Layover" on September 8.


Running Man has also confirmed V's participation by sharing an image of V's name tag (which is used to participate in games on the show) on their official Instagram account, captioning it, "Running man X BTS V. September 10th on Air." Fans are super excited to see that Taehyung is keeping the promotional appearances for his album coming unabashedly! ARMY is always greedy for more content. We are also hoping to see him on fellow bandmate Min Yoongi's talk show 'Suchwita' soon- he is the only member who has not appeared on the show as a guest yet.

For newer ARMYs who think this is V’s debut on the show, let us remind you that the 'Singularity' singer has been on 'Running Man; before. In 2016, V and other BTS members including RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook were part of the show's 300th episode. Yesterday, Taehyung also officially released his solo songs Scenery, Winter Bear and Snow Flower which had previously only been available on Soundcloud. 

'Running Man', which began airing on July 11, 2010, as part of SBS' Good Sunday lineup, has been a favorite among viewers for its entertaining games and challenges involving its MCs and guests. ARMY can't wait to see V's adorable and playful antics which will definitely be a hit amongst the show's MCs and viewers. Not to mention that TATA Mic face.
