On Friday, the South Korean boy band BTS will complete 12 years since its debut. This year is particularly special as it also marks the reunion of the band members after nearly three years, with all members completing their mandatory military service in 2024. Currently, only SUGA is left to be discharged, which will happen on June 21. The other six members have completed their service and are awaiting the grand reunion.
The festivities marking 12 years of BTS began on May 31 and will conclude on June 29. The biggest highlights of the celebration are J-Hope and Jin’s solo concerts. J-Hope has been performing his solo act since February and has his final two concerts scheduled for June 13 and 14 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. The Hope on the Street tour began in February this year in Seoul. After traveling across the world, he is back in South Korea for one last time.
Ahead of the concert, J-Hope shared heartfelt feelings, saying, “The long journey is finally coming to an end. I think this is a stage where I’ve prepared a lot and will fully show what I’ve learned so far. I’m so grateful to be able to be with ARMY (fandom name) on this glorious day. I will work hard once again to create a concert where I do my best for my fans.”
