In an official announcement on July 31, SM Entertainment, the South Korean entertainment company, revealed that its latest boy band, RIIZE, will be making its debut this coming September. RIIZE will be the first boy group launched by SM in 7 years since NCT.

RIIZE, a seven-member boy band, is the latest venture from the esteemed entertainment conglomerate. The group`s name, a blend of the words `RISE` and "REALIZE," signifies their collective ambition to ascend and accomplish their dreams together. The band`s music genre has been classified as `emotional pop.`
