Sarath Kumar's daughter Varalakshmi says she will make her film debut if the right script comes along

It's the year for star kids to launch their careers. Sarath Kumar's daughter Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, who has produced and choreographed the musical hit play Mamma Mia, says that confidence and hard work are what made it successful.

The show is success in both Chennai and Bangalore and now she is keen to perform in Mumbai and Delhi also.
When asked why she chose Mamma Mia, the answer comes immediately, "My dad watched it in London and he immediately suggested it to me. When we did it in Chennai, we got good response and in Bangalore too it has been well appreciated.

This feedback has given us confidence and we are taking it to other cities." When asked about Bangalore, she says, "I love the city and people. Bangalore audiences enjoyed it so much that they even started singing with us when the play was being performed. There is a lot of hard work involved in the show and I enjoy the work I do, so I don't mind it."

Since her dad has been around for a long time, doesn't she too want to enter the film industry? "People have approached me, but I have not got any interesting script. If the right script comes along, then surely I will make my debut irrespective of the language in which the film will be shot. But I am not waiting for any script when I get a good one, then I will do it."
