Punjabi star Gippy Grewal's Bollywood debut Second Hand Husband (2015), which was the launchpad for Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja, proved to be a dud.

The actor has got noticed in the recent release, Lucknow Central. The actor has just inked a deal for his third Hindi film. It is said to be a solo-hero project and will be produced by Nikkhil Advani.
