Explaining the plot, Ramesh says, "The story is about two lovers who went missing during the demolition."
Ramesh has a penchant for basing films on recent incidents in India and he is also reshooting Cyanide, which deals with the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi, in Hindi with a more detailed script. The cast includes Naseeruddin Shah, Seema Biswas, Suhana Goswami, Anupam Kher and Om Puri.
Getting real
As with Cyanide, real cops will also feature in Police Quarters. Some of these policemen will be the ones who were at the site when the demolition took place, and this could add to the authenticity of the movie.
He says he has put in a lot of research in order to ensure that he doesn't get into any trouble with the censor board.
