'Bharateeyudu' was notable for its striking story of a freedom fighter who rises up to fight against corruption in post-independent India and now, this sequel is going to be produced on a vast scale.

Speaking about the development, Dil Raju shares, "We have always strived to bring meaningful cinema to Telugu audiences and it is in the same endeavour that we have collaborated for this prestigious and ambitious project. With high technical values and a story to suit the present day scenarios, we have decided to go all out to bring this film to the silver screen."
