Shruti Haasan posts a heartfelt post for Kamal Haasan on his birthday

Shruti Haasan is indeed a proud daughter today as his father and legendary actor, Kamal Haasan, celebrates his 65th birthday.

November 7 is going to be an overwhelming day for all the hardcore fans of Indian Cinema. On one hand, Amitabh Bachchan completes 50 glorious years in Hindi Cinema, on the other hand, another iconic and celebrated actor Kamal Haasan brings in his 65th birthday. It cannot get bigger than this.

Shruti Haasan took to her Instagram account and wished her daddy dearest with a heartfelt post. She wrote that it's a special day marking his birthday that also marks his 60 years of work in cinema. The Haasan family travels to the actor's hometown, Paramakudi, to unveil his father's wax statute. It's indeed a special day for all of them. Have a look at the post right here:

To celebrate the occasion, the entire Haasan clan came together to bring in his birthday. It was a celebration filled with simplicity yet style. And Haasan, the man of the moment, looked dapper as he always does.

He has, ever since he began his acting career, branched out of his comfort and essayed characters that became an inspiration to the coming generation of stars. Be it playing multiple characters in the same film or a midget, Haasan always reached there first.

From comedy to romance to drama to action, Haasan nailed all the genres and created a cinema of his own, driven by ambition and defined by audacity. He now attempts to serve the nation as a politician and has his ideas and views clear and transparent. But his love and passion for the movies cannot be extinguished. He's also gearing up for Shankar's Indian 2, a bigger and more relevant take on the theme of vigilantism. Bring the biggie on!
