Director Nagendra Prasad offers free bus rides to people to promote his film, Meghave Meghave

Do gimmicks pay off? Lyricist and director Nagendra Prasad, whose film Meghave Meghave releases tomorrow, will soon know.

He plans to hire 5 buses in Bangalore and offer free rides to towns like Mysore and Hubli from today till Monday. The buses will sport massive banners of the film.

Nagendra Prasad had recently coughed up Rs 15 lakh for a plane to launch the music of Meghave Meghave.

Gracy Singh (of Lagaan and Munnabhai MBBS fame) and Ram, who was recently seen in Ramya Chaitra Kaala, play the lead roles. Sudeep makes a guest appearance. The mahurat shot was filmed in Nepal.

"In Meghave Meghave, I go from playing an irresponsible guy to a mature hero. Gracy is a sweet girl. She carries tons of chocolates with her to the sets! In all the days that we shot together, she learnt just two Kannada words, banni (come) and hogi (go)," says Ram.
