Uppi fails to impress

Film: Rajani (Kannada)
Star Cast: Upendra, Aarthi Chabria, Rangayana Raghu and Doddanna
Director: Thriller Manju
Theaters: Aparna, Navarang, PVR and Fun
Rating: **

Rajani is a remake of Telugu film Krishna. Director Thriller Manju has concentrated on the stunts rather than on the script. The film's funniest part is Upendra's dialogue delivery in a frantic manner and he has again proved that he still has a long way to go before he can win accolades for his acting.
What's it about:u00a0 Rajani (Upendra) an unemployed man meets rich girl Sandhya (Aarti Chabria). When Rajani catches a fancy for Sandhya and asks for her contact details, she gives him a wrong telephone number. And when Rajani ventures out to go to her place he ends up at a don's home. He ends up in a long drawl with the dons. And like any typical Sandalwood film, the heroine falls in love with the hero. Another don walks into the picture to play spoilsport. Watch the film to know who wins the ladylove.
What's Hot: Rangayana Raghu's acting is quite commendable and director and stuntman Manju are the highlights of the film.
What's Not: Upendra's dialogues fail to impress the audience and Aarti doesn't win despite her bare it all attitude.
