Director Chandru is hoping his film Prem Kahani will be cleared by the Film Chamber despite the controversy over the title
Director Chandru has completed his second film Prem Kahani, which will be released in June in three languages Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. Like his debut movie Taj Mahal, this film too will be released in Singapore, England and the United States. Ajay and Telugu actress Sheela are playing the main roles.
"Prem Kahani is a love story with a moral message. I never make a film for stars. My script itself is the star.
Audiences have high expectations and want me to give them another movie like Taj Mahal, which ran for 100 days," says Chandru.
When asked about the title controversy, Chandru said that KFCC objected to the Hindi title Prem Kahani and that it disturbed him because he didn't want to change the title now, when the shooting is over. "I have requested KFCC to give me the same title and I hope that they oblige," he adds.
