Actor Dhanush has donated Rs 1 crore for the construction of the new building of Nadigar Sangam. As per reports, the ‘Maari’ actor is a member of the South Indian Artistes` Association. He donated a sum of Rs 1 crore from his personal funds towards the construction of the New Nadigar Sangam Building. 

Dhanush presented the cheque to SIAA President Thiru. Nassar, Treasurer Thiru. Karthi, and Vice-president Thiru.Poochi S Murugan. South Indian Artistes` Association expressed its gratitude towards his great gesture.
