Thalapathy Vijay is one of the most loved and admired actors in the country. The actor who is known for his cinema in Tamil language has a massive influence on his legion of fans. Apart from cinema, Vijay is also known for participating in social welfare activities for the people through his fan clubs. Last year, the actor also honoured students of class 10th and 12th who scored well in the exams.

While the actor is set to honour students this year as well, scores of Thalapathy himself have now done the rounds on social media. Reportedly, Vijay studied at a popular matriculation school in Virugambakkam, Chennai. He was a pretty average student in his school days.

According to multiple sources, Vijay reportedly scored a total of 711 out of 1100 in his class 10 exams. He topped the Tamil language paper with 155 out of 200. He scored 95/200 in Mathematics. 133/200, 206/300, and 122/200 are Vijay's respective marks in English, Science, and Social Science, and he secured 65% of the marks in his Class 10th.

Thalapathy's message to class 10 and 12 students:

A couple of days back after the results of class 10 and 12th were announced in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Vijay extended his wishes to the kids. The actor-turned-politician took it to his official Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) X account and said, “Heartfelt congratulations to all the students who passed the 12th and 10th public examinations recently held in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Wish others to try again with confidence and success. See you soon!”

Meanwhile, according to a report in DT Next, Vijay is planning to conduct his first-ever state party meeting in Madurai on June 22, which is the same day as his birthday. The actor might meet with the students on the very same day.

On the work front:

While Vijay has announced his decision to join politics with his own party, he is also busy wrapping the shoot of his next film 'GOAT'. The actor recently flew to USA for the shoot of the film. There is a buzz that this will probably mark the actor's last film given that he has decided to step into active politics. His last film Leo did well not just in Tamil Nadu, but also at the Kerala box office. For decades, Vijay has had a huge fan following in Kerala.

As for the film, 'GOAT' will also see Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prasanth, Prabhu Deva and others in key roles. The film is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh under AGS Entertainment. The film has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni and editing by Venkat Raajen. Major portions of the film have already been shot in Chennai, Thailand, Hyderabad and Pondicherry.
