The runaway success of KGF: Chapter 2 has made Prashanth Neel one of the most sought-after directors among south and Bollywood stars. So who will the director collaborate with for his next offering? We won’t be surprised if the man of the moment joins forces with one of Bollywood’s biggest superstars, Salman Khan. The buzz suggests that after the actioner’s release in mid-April, the director had a hush-hush meeting with Khan to discuss a project.   

A trade source reveals, "During his recent interviews, Prashanth frequently mentioned that when he watched Salman’s Hum Aapke Hai Koun during his school days, he realised that he wanted to be a director. He credits the movie for changing his life. Recently, he met the superstar where they apparently discussed the possibility of making a film together, which would be produced by Salman Khan Films. Few people know about the meeting as it’s in the nascent stages.” But the project, if it materialises, will take a long time. The source adds that Neel is currently busy with the Prabhas-starrer, Salaar." After completing that, he will move on to his next with Jr NTR.” Neel remained unavailable for comment.
