Darshan is depressed; refuses to attend Independence Day celebrations in prison

Actor Darshan, who was recently denied bail and arrested for the murder of a fan, Renukaswamy, is reportedly in a depressed state in prison. He reportedly did not sleep all night in prison after his arrest, and also refused to attend the Independence Day celebrations

Kannada actor Darshan, who was arrested recently after he was caught in the sensational murder case of a fan, Renukaswamy, is reportedly "depressed" and "sleepless" in prison. Further, it is being said that Darshan and Prajwal Revanna, former JD(S) MP who has been convicted in the obscene video and rape case, refused to participate in the 79th Independence Day celebrations held at the Bengaluru Central Prison.

Darshan was arrested on Thursday, August 14, following the Supreme Court`s cancellation of his bail. On the other hand, Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, has been in prison for over a year. The Special Court on August 1 sentenced Prajwal to a life term until his death.

According to sources, both are in a state of depression following these developments in their respective cases nd chose to remain in their barracks. Sources also claim that Darshan did not sleep throughout the night in prison. Notably, all accused, including Darshan, have been assigned remand prisoner numbers.  Darshan`s prisoner number is 7314, while Darshan`s partne,r Pavitra Gowda, is the first accused in the fan murder case, is assigned number 7313.
