Foremost, the actress revealed that she started writing at the age of 6, an age where children barely comprehend things going on in their surroundings. Mayuri says "When I was 6-7 years old, I wrote a poem on a honeybee. And it came from my observation and I loved the way my words rhymed and the beautiful poem and whatever was created out of that and I was intrigued by it. I loved writing but I have been pursuing it in bits and parts and there are phases when I write and there are phases that I don't. I don't know how good I am but do I love it? Absolutely."
However, Mayuri feels as and when you grow the way you write also undergoes a lot of changes. She further added "And it started long back and there have been phases when I have excessively pursued it and there are days when I have not. As a child I used to write a lot of poems and then I wanted to write stories and articles and right now I am in a phase where I want to write stories and screenplays. So it is an evolution and I am yet to discover the complete writer in me"
The kind of a person she is, we are very much sure her sensibility would do proper justice with the choices of the audiences. We hope that Mayuri writes a movie very soon.
