Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 - Sword vs Spirit is an Indian Telugu-language period action-adventure film that was released in theatres on July 24, 2025. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A.M. Jyothi Krisna, with a screenplay by Jagarlamudi and Sai Madhav Burra, the film is set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire. It stars Pawan Kalyan in the titular character, Veera Mallu, a fictional outlaw who fights for Sanatana Dharma and takes on the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, portrayed by Bobby Deol. The cast also includes Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and Satyaraj in key roles.
Pawan Kalyan-starrer opened to high expectations but received mixed reviews. Despite a mixed reaction, the film collected a massive Rs 31.5 crores on day 1. The film collected Rs 12.7 crores from paid previews a day before the release. This brings its total collection to Rs 44.20 crore which is a solid start by any measure.
The houseful shows and strong occupancy across all regions indicate a solid Day 2 and a promising weekend for this historic blockbuster. Unlike his previous films, Pawan Kalyan actively participated in the promotions of HHVM, taking the film’s reach to the next level and contributing to its sensational openings. He plays an outlaw named Veera Mallu, while Nidhhi Agerwal stars as Panchami, and Bobby Deol portrays Aurangzeb. The film is produced by AM Rathnam, with music composed by MM Keeravaani.
