I believe an artist is also like a river, says Subodh Bhave

Subodh Bhave is someone who needs absolutely no introduction. After having acted in various TV serials, movies and theatre, he is now making waves as in the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. When asked about any key takeaways from his earlier roles that he had applied while essaying the role of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Har Har Mahadev (which is presently streaming on ZEE 5), pat came the reply, "I have done a lot of biopics before this. Be it 'Lokmanya Tilak' or 'Balagandharva' or even 'Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar'… I am not saying that I do biopics easily. But, what I can tell you is that, I can handle the sanctity of the characters in a good way. I am able to reach their soul and understand what it is trying to say. Even in Har Har Mahadev, with the help of Abhijeet Deshpande, I tried to understand and reach the soul of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

And when asked about his strategy of managing to strike a balance in everyday life while donning many hats, he said, “I believe an artist is also like a river. Whenever water flows in a river, it has its own path, but when the storm comes, the river changes its path and goes anywhere. Similarly, if there is a storm of creativity in an artist, they too tend to change track and gets attracted to another hobby. And some artists are good at singing, dancing or writing”.

He added, “And similarly, there's a storm of creativity in me too, which does not let me stop at acting, it makes me want to do direction, production and apart from that I have my family, my parents, my wife, my two kids, their school/college to look into, as well. They support me a lot so it's my responsibility to give quality them time and I feel if you want then you can definitely take some out for your family inspite of your busy life”.
