The ongoing Jallikattu unrest in Chennai affected the shoot of Kajol's Tamil outing, Velai Illa Pattadhari 2 (VIP 2) that also stars South superstar Dhanush. On the first day of the protest itself, shooting for the Tamil film had to be cancelled due to the traffic snarls which resulted from the protesters' march towards Marina Beach.
