Malayalam superstar Mammootty is gearing up for the release of his next film titled Kalamkaaval, which hits theatres on December 5. The makers of the Jithin Jose directorial held a pre-release event in the state on Monday, where they dropped a new teaser showcasing the darker side of Mammootty’s character.

The pre-release teaser of Kalamkaaval begins with a notice board filled with photos of missing women. In the voice-over, we hear family members desperately searching for their daughters, sisters and partners. We then see Vinayakan’s character, who appears to be investigating the case. He says, “Later on, this killing vibe has turned me into an addict.” The teaser also gives a fleeting glimpse of actress Raiza Wilson, who plays a pivotal role in this crime drama.
