Nag Ashwin`s much anticipated directorial `Kalki 2898 AD` was initially supposed to hit the theatres in January this year. However, owing to extensive production and post-production of the film, it will now come at a later date. On Friday, the makers of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone-starrer took to social media to share the new release date of the film. 

The makers of the movie `Kalki 2898 AD` however employed a unique strategy to announce the release date of the sci-fi futuristic film. While fans of actor Prabhas have been eagerly looking forward to a social media post on the official handles of the film and the makers, the surprise came when fans themselves discovered the release date and shared the same on social media.
