Parasakthi
The Madras High Court has now cleared the way for Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara and starring Sivakarthikeyan, ahead of its Pongal release. This comes after the film faced a legal challenge alleging plagiarism. The judgment was delivered by Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy after hearing detailed arguments from all parties involved in the case.
The film also features Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela laong with Sivakarthikeyan. The film is scheduled for release on January 10. However, before its release, an assistant director named KV Rajendran had filed a petition in the Chennai High Court, claiming that the film`s story was stolen from his registered work, Chemmozhi.
