ZEE5 announced today that the much-anticipated Malayalam mystery-comedy-thriller film Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse will premiere from 19th December 2025. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon in his Malayalam debut, the film is produced by Mammootty Kampany and features Mammootty in a distinctive and intriguing role. The film initially hit the theatres on January 23, 2025. Despite the buzz around Menon and Mammootty's collaboration, the movie failed to gain steam at the box office. 

Plot of Dominic and the Ladies' Purse

Dominic and the Ladies' Purse follow the story of Dominic (Mammootty), a seasoned former police officer who has now stepped into the shoes of a private detective. What appears to be a routine assignment, tracing the owner of a misplaced ladies’ purse, soon evolves into something far more sinister, pushing Dominic and his loyal aide Vignesh (Gokul Suresh) into a labyrinth of secrets, identities, and unexpected revelations.
