Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna who had always welcomed different stories collaborated with the next gen legendary director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao in 1993 to create a wonder that lasts till the Telugu Cinema exists. Creating a fantasy world and taking the audience into it, the movie 'Bhairava Dweepam' released on 14th April 1994. The movie created wonders at the box-office presenting a memorable cinematic experience to the audience. To bring back this evergreen classic to this generation of audience, Claps infotainment is re-releasing the film in upgraded 4K quality on August 5, 2023.


Chandra Sekar Kumaraswamy, P Dev Varma of Claps Infotainment in association with PV Giri Raju ensures the best cinematic experience to the audience with 'Bhairava Dweepam' 4K release, in which Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna portrayed Vijay, an abandoned prince who grows up in a tribe to become a brave man. He falls in love with the Princess of Karthikeya Kingdom, Roja (Padmavathi) who is being summoned by an evil wizard by magic to an island 'Bhairava Dweepam' to sacrifice her to rule the universe. How Vijay fights the evil and rescues Roja forms the story that had many great twists and turns.


The plot of the film revolves around a boy who is raised by a village chieftain after his mother loses him in the woods. As time passes and he grows up, he falls in love with a woman who is under the spell of a witch and decides to save her.


The magical story penned by Raavi Kondala Rao was astonishingly presented on screen by the legendary director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, aided by a brilliant screenplay by himself. Music scored by Madhavapeddi Suresh is another highlight of the movie, while cinematography  was handled by Kabir Lal and editing was done by D. Raja Gopal. The production values by producer B. Venkatarami Reddy under the banner Chandamama Vijaya Combines were top notch and beyond that generation. The movie won 9 Nandi Awards along with humongous box-office numbers and audience reception.
