According to a report in India Today, the thief had stolen the mobile phone of a local political leader in Darbhanga district of Bihar, who reported the theft to the cops. According to the police report, the dreaded gangster Mohammad Hasnain had stolen the mobile phone of BJP leader Sanjay Kumar and had been absconding. The case was registered and was being investigated by senior police officer Madhubala Devi who started tracing the CDR (call data records) of the phone and it was found that the device was still being used by Hasnain.
