Daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan is a multi-talented actress, singer, and music composer who has made a name for herself in Bollyoowd as well as down south. With a career spanning over a decade, Shruti has starred in a variety of films across multiple languages, but she is particularly known for her performances in regional movies. While Shruti made her acting debut with the Hindi movie, 'Luck' in 2009, she gained recognition as an actor after starring in Tamil and Telugu films like 'Oh My Friend', 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu' and '7aum Arivu' to name a few. In addition to her acting skills, Haasan is also known for her singing abilities and has lent her voice to several songs in her films.

Anaganaga O Dheerudu: This 2011 Telugu fantasy film, directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, starred Shruti Haasan in the lead role and received critical acclaim for her performance. The film was a commercial success and earned Haasan several awards and nominations for Best Actress.


Balupu: Released in 2013, the Telugu action comedy film was directed by Gopichand Malineni, and starred Shruti Haasan and Ravi Teja in lead roles. The film was a box office hit and Haasan received positive reviews for her performance as the leading lady.

Srimanthudu: Headlined by superstar Mahesh Babu, this 2015 Telugu action drama film was helmed by Koratala Siva and starred Shruti opposite Babu as the stunning female lead. The film was a declared blockbuster and Haasan received positive reviews for her performance as the female lead.

Katamarayudu: Starring Pawan Kalyan, Kamal Kamaraji along with Shruti Haaasan, this 2017 Telugu action drama is directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani. The film was a commercial success and Haasan's portrayal of a classical dancer, who is a simple village girl was widely appreciated. 

Krack: This Telugu action film, directed by Gopichand Malineni, starred Shruti Haasan opposite Telugu megastar, Ravi Teja. The 2021 Shruti-starrer was a commercial success and Haasan received praise for her performance as the female lead.

Salaar: This 2023 film is set in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, the film follows the friendship between Deva (Prabhas), a tribesman, and Varadha (Prithviraj), the prince of Khansaar. When a coup d'état is planned by his father's ministers and his relatives, Varadha enlists Deva's help to become Khansaar's undisputed ruler. Shruti Haasan plays Aadhya Krishnakanth in the film.
