The film, which stars Shivrajkumar and Navya Nair, was shot in Chennapatna.<br /><br />Shivrajkumar is very enthusiastic about the film. "Till date I have done many village-oriented films, but this film is unique because it is devoid of commercial gimmicks. I play the role of Chennaiah, a bangle seller who becomes a prosperous man."<br /><br />Navya Nair says, "This film is purely village-orientated and I play the role of Cheluvi. My character is very lively in this movie. The moment I heard about the story, I accepted the film without hesitation."<br />Bangles play a big role in the film because the lead actor is a bangle seller. In fact, one song sequence portrays Navya Nair wearing a lot of bangles.<br /><br /><em>This film is unique because it is devoid of commercial gimmicks.
