Television actress Aishwarya Sakhuja, known for her role of ideal 'bahu' Toasty in 'Saas Bina Sasural', has accepted an offer to co-anchor 'Sriman v/s Srimati' because she is looking for something different post the family drama
"I had taken a long break because of my ill health. When I was looking at coming back, I didn't want to do something normal. That is why I came back with anchoring. After Toasty, I wanted to do something different, more relatable," Aishwarya told IANS.

Anchoring 'Sriman v/s Srimati' is fun for the 26-year-old. "It is a lot of fun. Original 'Nach Baliye' had stiff and serious competition. This is more in the fun zone and lighter zone. There is good dancing involved. It's girls v/s boys, which is interesting to see," she said.
She feels that her image as Toasty is forgotten now. "I guess the whole thing of slotting is over now. Till the time you are a good actor and you can mould yourself in a character, people don't mind. Audience has a short term memory. If you are out of sight, you are out of mind," she said.
Aishwarya, who also featured in the cooking-based reality show 'Welcome - Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi Ki', also added that she is looking for something more in her characters now.
"If you are playing the lead, you will be a 'bahu' that is something which will be offered to you. There needs to be more in the character. I don't mind playing the 'bahu' over and over again, but the character has to have something more," she said.
The actress has more shows in the pipeline, but refused to reveal anything at the moment.
