'Bade Acche Lagte Hain' completed a milestone of 500 episodes...
I am overwhelmed with the response that audience has given us. Completing 500 episodes is a great achievement for the whole ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ team. I wish and pray to keep growing in the same flow and complete more 500 episodes. I would like to thank all my fans, the very supportive cast and crew, the channel and an amazing production house for the immense support and appreciation.

There have been a couple of leaps in the show recently...
We have received an outstanding response on the leap. Viewers are quite amazed and are loving the new track in the show. Looking at the audiences' love and support I am sure that 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ will succeed to complete another 500 episodes.
What would you do post 'BALH'?
Actually, I was supposed to do this show only for a year, just like Ekta and I had decided. I had many films in hand and even turned her down initially. But the audiences liked it so much that I continued. It’s getting harder with every passing year to juggle it with films. I’m committed to 'BALH' and I’d rather have it end than I leave it. I’ll never turn my back on TV, but post 'BALH', I won’t do more TV — for a while at least.
Do you credit TV or films for your success?
Ram Kapoor today is a household name due to TV. It has given me everything, no doubt. Through films, I reached urban audiences, while my TV fans are from the interiors.
Your wife Gautami has made a comeback to TV...
I'm happy for her as she was eager to return to acting. There were a few roles that had worked out, but I wanted her to be back with a bang, so I stopped her from taking those up. She is here finally, and I’m super-thrilled for her.
