Actress Mansi Srivastava, best known for her roles in shows like 'Rab Se Sohna Isshq' and 'Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se', will next be seen on the small screen as Sati (also known as Parvati) in the popular TV show 'Neeli Chhatri Wale'.

Just like Shivaye (Himanshu Soni) is only visible to Bhagwan Das (Rajesh Kumar), Parvati will be seen only by his wife Bobby (Disha Savla).

The upcoming plot of the show will see Bhagwan Das sharing his increasing tussles with Bobby as a concern with Shivaye, who will remind him of his own squabbles with Parvati. So, he counsels Bhagwan Das drawing references from his own relationship with Parvati.

"I'm excited to do a mythological show and I’ll mostly be seen as a goddess. The weird part is that we are shooting 'Neeli Chhatri Wale' at a location that used to be the set of 'Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se', which I did earlier," Mansi said in a statement.

"I've been given the same make-up room that I used back in those days. It seems like a good start and I feel nostalgic. I’m very comfortable on this show even though it is a challenging genre to work on," she added.

The Zee TV show depicts a unique friendship between man and god.
