Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has been a part of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' since its inception, has quit the popular TV show. The cricketer-turned-politician's wife Navjot Kaur has confirmed the news of Sidhu exiting the show.
The politician's wife Navjot Kaur was quoted as saying that Navjot Singh Sidhu will be completely focusing on Punjab politics.
Navjot Kaur told reporters that her husband Navjot Singh Sidhu has recorded all the shows till September 30 and has bid adieu to the cast of the show.

Navjot Singh Sidhu and Kapil Sharma's association goes back to 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge', where Kapil was a participant. Navjot Singh Sidhu was also part of Kapil's show 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'.
Navjot Singh Sidhu also announced that he will not float a party to contest the upcoming Punjab Assembly election as he does not wish to play 'spoilsport' by dividing anti-incumbency votes.
Days after announcing the launch of Aawaaz-e-Punjab, the former BJP MP said they have decided against forming a political party as it is too short a time to prepare for polls, but added that they are open to 'alliance' for betterment of Punjab.
Sidhu, along with MLA Pargat Singh and Ludhiana MLAs Simarjit Bains and Balwinder Bains, had recently announced the launch of the forum here after a public fallout here with BJP, which he formally quit on September 14. (Read more)
Earlier there was speculation that he would join the Aam Aadmi Party but it was ruled out after he lashed out at its national convener Arvind Kejriwal.
