Javed Akhtar did a no show at the last-minute for the 10th anniversary celebrations of the music reality show, 'Indian Idol'.

A special show called Jashn-E-Idol had previous judges, contestants and hosts come together on stage. Akhtar featured in season three and four of the show.

He apparently opted out hours before the shoot, citing health issues.
