Ayesha Singh who plays Sai in ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein’ on Star Plus, joins mid-day.com as she recalls the best things that happened in the past year and shares her hopes and wishes for the New Year. Read on to know more!

How do you plan to ring in New Year’s?
I’m most likely to be home with family. We will enjoy a good meal and watch television.  I will try and catch up on some rest if I get an off from shoot.

Your wish list and hopes for the New Year?
I wish to work with good directors and work on good and different content. I wish I get opportunities to explore the artiste in me and play all sorts of roles and characters. I hope this New Years is safe for all of us and it brings in peace and happiness with lesser adventure than last year.

The best thing that happened to you in 2021?
One of the best things that happened is our show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein’ completed one year with good grades. We passed with flying colours. As a nation and even globally it’s great that so many people got vaccinated in the past year.  Businesses resumed and that is something I’m happy about.

Your New Year’s resolution for 2022?
Since the time I was in college, I decided to never have a resolution during the New Year. If I want to do something I just do it. My resolutions don’t even last through January, so my resolution is to continue not making any resolutions
