Punjabi singer Afsana Khan entered Bigg Boss 15 like a boss! The songwriter, after making a 'dhamakedaar' entry by crooning a song in her soulful voice, is here to give a tough competition to all the in-house contestants. Born and bought up in Mumbai, Afsana belongs to a family of singers. Here's all you need to know about her.

The Punjabi singer started her career by singing reality shows. Not many would remember, Afsana was a part of Voice of Punjab Season 3. Though she did not win the show, she was seen as one of the contestants. Ever since then, there was no turning back for Afsana, and she went ahead crooning some popular songs like Titliaan, Bazaar, Jaani Ve Jaani, Dhakka, Juti Jharrke, Naina De Thekay, among others.

Personal life

Little is known about the personal life of Afsana Khan. But recently, she made headlines after the news of her backing out of Bigg Boss 15 broke after she suffered panic attacks during her quarantine period. However, she entered the house looking all fit and fine during the premiere last night.

Controversies

Reportedly, a complaint was filed against Afsana Khan for one of her songs 'Dhakka' which was alleged to be promoting gun culture in India. The viral song video saw Sidhu Moosewala featuring Afsana Khan back in 2019.
