Bigg Boss 17 Day 1 Highlights: The 17th season of the reality show premiered on Sunday on Colors and JioCinema. Amid much excitement and enthusiasm for the reality show hosted by Salman Khan, celebrity participants began the race for the trophy.

Bigg Boss 17 went on air with 17 contestants. The show has two couples, ex-flames, and multiple single participants. The first episode started with what was expected, a fight. Ex-lovers Isha Malviya and Abhishek Kumar, who had an argument in front of Salman Khan on the stage, indulged in yet another fight. The fight broke out when Abhishek denied agreeing to Mannara Chopra, who was given the responsibility to make the housemates decide a house for themselves between Dil, Dimaag, and Dum.
Later, after the fight, Bigg Boss intervened and asked the contestants to choose one house each. Mannara Chopra, Isha Malviya, Ankita Lokhande, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, and Vicky Jain chose Dil house. Dimag house was chosen by Jigna Vora, Arun Mashetty, Soniya Bansal, Sana Raees Khan, and Anurag Dobhal. Others, including Munawar Faruqui, Khanzaadi, Sunny Arya, Abhishek Kumar and Navid Sole, chose house no. 3, Dum.
Later in the episode, Abhishek was seen talking to Isha, where he told her that Tehelka had called Abhishek before entering the house to gang up. In the episode, Jigna Vohra also opened up about her legal battle journey.
During the episode, Bigg Boss introduced the BB Anthem to the housemates. The episode took an interesting turn when Vicky decided to play a prank on the housemates. Vicky made Jigna tell the housemates that they had 2 minutes to change their houses, which led to multiple further discussions and dramas. Later, Bigg Boss asked all the housemates to gather and schooled Vicky for doing this manipulative thing.
Bigg Boss also asked Vicky to have the power to say everything out loud and if he wanted to play mind games, then he should shift to the 'Dimaag' house.
