Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput continue to remain in people's minds as Archana and Manav ever since they came together in ‘Pavitra Rishta’ all the way back in 2009. The show is all set for its second season that arrives on September 15 onwards with Shaheer Sheikh stepping in as Manav. There’s enough excitement already, and hopefully, the second season should be as memorable and special as the first.

When asked about working with him, this is what she said, “At that time I was really raw, didn’t know anything about acting. When I used to act with Sushant, I used to be very nervous. He was a senior actor and always tried to dominate me and I was like ‘Yes sir, you’re absolutely right' (laughs). My heart rate increased while working with him. It was a story that was very unsaid. We used to talk to each other through our eyes.”
She added, “You need to have that bond with that person, either out of love or fear. I had that bond with my mother in the show as well. Chemistry is not always about two people of opposite sex. I have tried to do that in Pavitra Rishta, I’ve tried to make a jodi with everyone. With this show it was very organic with everyone, it started looking very natural and real.”
Talking about Shaheer Sheikh, she said, “He became a very good friend of mine. He’s very silent and I’m very talkative so I used to tease him. So automatically he opened up. But when you look at Manav, you feel Manav, that’s the whole point. We don’t see Ankita and Shaheer, we see Archana and Manav.”
The show is all set to air on Zee5 from September 15 onwards.
