Baseer Ali’s eviction came as a shock to the entire industry, with many celebrities calling it unfair. In an exclusive chat with mid-day, Baseer opened up about his eviction and addressed Malti Chahar’s comments on his sexuality as well as Pranit More’s crass remarks about his religion and relationships. Here’s what Baseer had to say about his stint on the controversial reality show.
Baseer revealed that he found his eviction unfair and had genuinely expected to reach the finale. He said, “I am surprised; I didn’t expect to be out so soon. Maybe around the ninth week, I thought I’d see myself in the finale at least. Top six, top five, top two — it doesn’t matter now, but I’m someone who always likes to complete my journeys, and I definitely wanted to see myself in the finals. But if the show is doing well and I wasn’t supposed to be there, and it’s working for them, then it’s fine. I wish them all the love and luck.”
