Former Splitsvilla contestant Gary Lu got voted out of ‘Roadies Karm Ya Kaand’. Gary, who was a part of Prince Narula’s gang, got eliminated from the show as the majority of votes were against him. The reality TV star got into a candid conversation with midday.com and shared details about his journey, betrayal by Rhea Chakraborty’s gang, and much more in this exclusive interview.

While talking about how things have changed for him in real life, Gary shared, "I have faced a lot of criticism at my school. People used to tell me that I wouldn’t be able to do anything because I was fat. Relatives also used to question me. I have taken all of it as motivation. Now, things have changed. People talk about me, and they talk to me very nicely."

Further in the chat, Gary opened up about why Rhea and Prince’s gang broke their alliances. He shared, "When we were together, we weren’t able to play openly. Prince Sir told us not to vote out any of Rhea’s gang members but also to break the alliance. During the first task, when Gautam Gulati’s team won, due to an alliance, we voted out two of his gang’s unsafe members. I felt really bad that day. I think one should play without fear and openly do whatever they wish to. Playing in a herd is not nice."

Gary and Prince shared a very special bond, and his elimination upset the gang leader. Gary, in the conversation, opened up about Prince’s reaction: "On that day of voting, immunity was very expensive. When I got voted out, Prince Sir asked me, ‘Why didn’t you take the immunity?’ But honestly, it was everyone’s hard-earned rodium, and I can’t ask for anything that is not rightfully mine," he shared.

Furthermore, while discussing the show's politics, Gary stated that he felt betrayed by a few members of Rhea's gang for not informing him that they were voting him out. "I feel betrayed by Sachin, Bhumika, and Rishab because they were my priority and I had given them my word. I even told them that I would ask my gang not to vote against you three. They didn’t even bother to tell me that they were voting me out. Gautam sir’s gang, at least, was clear about the fact that they were voting me out. It feels better if someone says it to your face than if you do what Rhea’s gang has done," the 23-year-old influencer shared.

Later, during the conversation, he also shared how his idea of Roadies has changed, saying, "My perception of roadies has changed. I came up with the assumption that there would be strong people who would stand up for themselves. In my season, people were there for a picnic. In my batch, no one was strong enough; everyone was playing in herds. I came with a lot of preparation, but it was disappointing to see my fellow contestants."

On a parting note, Gary said, "I have a lot of future plans. Definitely, if I get a pitch from any reality show, I will think about it because I believe I am a reality TV star."

For the unversed, hosted by Sonu Sood, ‘Roadies Karm Ya Kaand’ is the nineteenth season of the Indian reality show which airs on MTV, every Saturday and Sunday.
